youngbalder - Also I'm not sure on the Solgar version either which is 80 milligrams. If anyone has used this regularly let us know.

Malik - I think Gibson tried it twice and confirmed it was the cause of the stomach pain. If he sees this thread he can clarify it better.

With 112Degrees.com's product, I'll sometimes feel nauseated if I take it with other pills on an empty stomach. That doesn't just have PM in it though...never had this issue with Ainterol's product.

Young--

Try Ainterol @ one 500mg tab a day for a month or two and see if you notice any sides. If so, drop down to every other day again.

I'm also going to be taking the 500 mg pill. Should I take half pill a day?

Swimmy - Yes, a half a pill is a good start see how that goes.

julien 1200 - Pueraria Mirifica supplies Miroestrol which is a natural molecule almost identical to estriol, which is known as the "good" estrogen. This will help displace some androgens and more potent, undesirable estrogens.

Regarding Pueraria mirifica for hair loss

Post  wflynn on Sat May 16, 2009 7:20 pm

Don't take more then 1 pill a day or you may experience some breast growth even for men! I sell ainterol's products but they are too strong to take 2 a day to combat hair loss take just 1 a day. You can get the extract and mix it with your favorite shampoo and take 1 pill a day without worries. Also its a good idea to add maca and butea sup-erba to the regimin to help prevent any unwanted side effects. Here is what I recommend - 1 ainterol pueraria mirifica pill in the morning - 1 ainterol butea superba at night - take maca as recommended depending on what brand you by. Optionally you can get ainterol's pueraria mirifica extract and mix that in your favorite shampoo. Also there are many other great suggestions here on hair loss - some may work for you while others work for others. I think adding pueraria mirifica to the regimin is probably one of the most effective ways to help with hair loss as I use it myself for just that reason. Also I used to be 80% gray haired now I am about 20% gray haired which I didn't expect and my skin looks a heck of alot younger also.

For those interested in this forum email me I will set up a discount coupon on my site so you can try it at a lower price then normally available wflynn@optonline.net

Beta - stops type 1 or type 2 DHT or both?

hi CS,
Does beta sitosterol block DHT type 1 or type 2 or both?

RobHealthMan - Saw Palmetto/Beta Sitosterol inhibit both type 1 and 2 forms of 5 alpha-reductase.

Type I is found mostly in the skin, type II mostly in the prostate.

Just came across this thread. I had stomach problems from both. Initially, it was from Ainterol's. Then I picked up Solgar, and the problem persisted. I can say without hesitation, or doubt, that it was from PM. Haven't a clue why. The pain became so severe that as soon as i felt the pain coming on after I took Solgar, i made myself vomit to get it out of my stomach. When i first started taking it, no problem, but it built up. It felt like it was eating away the lining of my stomach, like I was getting an ulcer. This is a guess, as i have never really had stomach problems, not even indigestion.
