potassium sorbate

I m just reading the label on my babay shampoo and it mentions Potassium sorbate as one of the ingredients
.Does it have anything to do with the potassium chloride we've discussed here?

edony - Potassium sorbate is a mold inhibitor (prevents yeasts and/or molds tom forming), basically it's a preservative and has no effects similar to potassium chloride.
