I have no visible inflammation to speak of. What I notice is that patches of my hair turn into wirey, black (I have brown hair), and brittle hairs two to three weeks before I lose it. Totally different texture than my other hair. This happens in cycles, at the corners of my hair line and... I assume it might be because I'm slightly sick right now, or because of hormonal changes from taking DHEA and pregnenalone for 2 weeks. Is this a sign to stop what I'm taking?
