Even though this idea/theory has been presented before, I think that site explains it really well compared to many that I have read.

The tendency to bald almost always involves oxidative stress and where this relates to the elasticity of the skin (or underneath the epidermis) or dermis exist the network of blood capillaries, hair follicles, sweat glands, nerve endings, and oil glands.

All are surrounded by a matrix of collagen, elastin, and reticulin. From a structure point of view, skin that can stretch or lose its elasticity result from free radical damage or oxidative stress.

When there is a defect in the redox status in the dermis, the structure of the matrix mentioned above starts to breakdown. So I believe the above theory is a reaction from skin and hair that already has advanced senescence/aging tendency.

Fundamentally, supporting a healthy structure to help that cause.

I don't buy that theory, frequently bald people have visibly immobile scalps.

Also, Tom Hagerty would probably be totally bald by now if that were true, but he has a perfect head of hair (and great color too) for his age.  He does his scalp exercises every day.

Hi brabus,

IMO, it's just another treatment option but doesn't address the root cause of hair loss.

Androgenic alopecia is an autoimmune disorder and Botox is used effectively in autoimmune disorders.

The corresponding toxin for specific conditions have been used to disrupt the process.

For example treating syphillis with Mercury.  Or the modern day version is to inject vaccines.  Botox is same process.

Course injecting toxins will possibly create autoimmune disorders and worse health as well.

The simplistic theory that raising the eyebrows too often causes baldness seems absurd. I am sure there are thousands of pictures of celebrities and women with raised eyebrow wrinkles and full heads of hair..Then to take the conclusion so seriously that to think that immobilization of the forehead with botox would be a cure ?  wow
In my perspective using the underlying muscles keeps the skin with more available blood flow and mobilizes the skin to keep it oxygenated, less toxic, and refreshed. For example under the eyes, dark circles are caused by blood leaking out of the capillaries. This is an area that has very few active muscles and it discolors, leaks, wrinkles, and thins with age.
I have started a deep pressure massage under my eyes and I find it making the skin healthier and it helps with the dark circles.
