Extracellular Matrix Collagen Density

Post  alberteinstein on Tue Mar 01, 2016 6:41 am

Article I found that I wanted to share.

What is interesting is that blood vessels grow better in a matrix that is loose and not dense.
One thing I learned is that a man has a denser collagen matrix than women, the good thing is that men tend to age slower because of it.
On the other hand a matrix of very dense collagen causes blood vessels to choke out, and could be the reason males bald much more extreme than women do as we age.
Also the article also states that wounding of the skin creates Angiogenesis.

Another reason why I think deep tissue massage is very important and that a stiff and dense scalp cannot grow healthy hair.
