Thin Scalp

Post  MikeGore on Sun Apr 03, 2016 2:54 pm

One thing I have noticed when touching my scalp with my fingers or bottle to massage, is how thin it feels. How do I get this area thickened so the follicles can breathe?

Yes I have experienced the same. As my hair loss progresses, the skin where hair is thinning is thinner than the rest of the scalp.

Gonna throw some broscience out there - dht increases sebaceous gland size and sebum production, which taxes local fat from the subcutaneous layer of the scalp, which restricts capillaries. I have absolutely no idea about the biology of sebaceous glands though so.........

could read through this thread (i havent): http://www.regrowth.com/hair-loss-forums/topic/subcutaneous-fat-good-fat-under-the-skin-stores-energy/
