How to Live Forever

Post  john3333 on Fri Sep 02, 2016 7:36 pm

Just thought I'd share this list of foods that fight inflammation. I posted about this in another thread, but I'm making this a thread just in case someone wasn't following that thread.

http://www.whfoods.com/foodstoc.php

You can compare the meat and grains sections of the site.
Notice how there is very little evidence for eating meat. The only thing the creators of the site were able to find that was good about meat was CLA, omega 3, and tiny amounts of antioxidants(incomparable to fruits and vegetables). Meanwhile grains like wheat contain lignans, fiber, and other antioxidants.
Celery and avocadoes contain beta-sitosterol, which may lower DHT.
Wheat has lignans and millions of other beneficial antioxidants that help with hairloss.

Every food contains these anti-inflammatory benefits, except animal products.
We all know that inflammation has a key role in hairloss, so a diet rich in these foods will help a lot.

This is real science. Check the references at the bottom of each page.
It's 100% unbiased. It doesn't just talk about the amazing benefits of grains, it also talks about the gluten in one grain, and the mercury in all of seafood.

This Dr disagrees.

Gluten may even boost immune function according to Michael Greger!
Gluten helps improve triglyceride levels.

Read this study below:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1954879/

/////
Nowadays it is assumed that an innate immunity to gluten plays a key role in the development of coeliac disease (CD).1 This innate response, mediated by interleukin (IL) 15 and elicited by “toxic peptides”, like the 19‐mer, through a DQ2‐independent mechanism, induces epithelial stress and reprogrammes intraepithelial lymphocytes into natural killer (NK)‐like cells2 leading to enterocyte apoptosis and an increase in epithelium permeability. Thus, immunodominant peptides, like the 33‐mer, can reach the lamina propria to trigger adaptive immunity.

>>>>>However, although an innate specific response in CD has been reported,3 no differential factors between patients with and without CD have been described controlling the innate immune response. Thus, since the toxic 19‐mer elicits its harmful effect through a DQ2‐independent mechanism, we hypothesise that the innate response is common in patients with and without CD, whereas the adaptive response is exclusive of susceptible patients with CD.<<<<<

Well, what the heck am I supposed to eat? Do you want me to starve?

The most important thing about grains is that they're carbohydrates. Japanese people eat white rice and peel their apples and pears, which removes a lot of the antioxidants. But they are still the country with the longest living people.
Sugar and starch must have antioxidant properties.

White rice has less arsenic than brown rice so that may help. Apple skins have pesticides. Fish is the top source of heavy metals though.

Wheatgrass cures cancer.
Many people from the bluezones eat wheat.
Low carb diets destroy the microbiome and it makes you deficient.
Many vegans never take a b12 supplement or injection, but they are not deficient. Why? Bacteria in the colon feed on fiber and create butyrate and b12. This is how cows get their b12. Meanwhile in meat eater's colons, the bacteria create hydrogen sulfide and free radicals

CampofDavid, as long as you get 80%-96% of your calories from carbs you'll be healthy.

http://images.huffingtonpost.com/2015-04-06-1428343907-9524763-1949jpokokokodiet.png

If you dont like wheat, eat rice. If you don't like grains eat potatoes. If you don't like tubers, eat fruits. If you don't like fruits, drink juice. It's really that simple to live 100+
Just make sure to avoid oil, meat, fat, and protein.

Ignore the people who say the Okinawan diet data is false.

"There's no way a perfect whole and unprocessed food like purple sweet potato rich in anthocyanins, fiber and other antioxidants can make someone live long!"
