Topical Vitamin C and pool chlorine

Post  invinoveritas on Wed Sep 21, 2016 5:22 am

I started to hit the swimming pool 43 times a week and have been looking for ways to remove chlorine from hair/scalp.

I found this interesting thread about diluting vitamin C in a spray bottle and using it as a hair rinse: http://forums.usms.org/showthread.php?22758-Very-Inexpensive-Chlorine-Remover

Would vitamin C topically be bad for hair?

topical vitamin C is supposed to be good for hair regrow.
If I remember correctly it was used in this seemingly successful process.

Thanks for the link.
And as for chlorine itself, would it exacerbate hair loss or thinning?

Plenty of literature and a double blind study about how vitamin C is a useful topical and rebuilds collagen and heals the skin.

Orange juice has a low % of vitamin C,  ascorbic acid powder is cheap and easily mixed .
