Seen the commercial during the World Series and was wondering is this legit? Not to be condescending, but why would Big Pharma, FDA release a cure or near cure if they are trying to make so much money? is it another level of deception? Or not?

The SOC prior to the next generation treatments for Hep C was Interferon, which was fairly effective in curing it (although they don't like to use that term) so the new treatments would have to be at least as good as that. They still try to get their money, by charging a lot (e.g. $84,000 for being treated with Solvaldi) for the new drugs.

What's your opinion Caustic?
The medical industrial complex is grossly incompetent on most levels, especially when it comes to dis-eases.
Hepatitis C is a misleading diagnosis, and in fact is not that difficult to cure.
Interferon is extremely toxic and only "cures" (not really an accurate term) some types. And expensive drugs to 'treat' it or "cure" it are completely unnecessary.
Hep C is really something that is attacking the liver....could be anything....it's a type of inflammation and the cause could be many different things potentially.
That part requires someone to review their medical history and other information to figure out the problem.
