MSM Organic Sulfur - Anyone still using it?

Post  helpmyhair1 on Fri Oct 06, 2017 4:53 pm

I've returned to DT after stopping for quite some time. As my thinning got worse recently, I restarted DT a couple of months ago and am glad I'm back on it. One thing I had forgotten about is that you can actually feel the calcification with your fingers as you break it up. But the problem is, when it comes time for my next DT session, the calcium that I had broken up had re-hardened. So it leads me to think that I am just breaking up the same calcium only for it to become hard again within 12 hours.

I remember a few years ago, CS was recommending taking MSM in the form of organic sulfur. I had taken it myself back then, but don't really remember if it worked or not. The idea that it can dissolve the broken up calcification is intriguing for the people doing DT.

So if you are still using MSM, can you share you results/experience?

I will never stop using it. This one is essential. Calcification happens at a point when inflammation has been occurring for a long time. Calcification disrupts the mitochondria, so a lack of ATP and hair will suffer, no doubt. Magnesium is the go to for this. It's another essential (never to do without). It puts calcium into solution and without it, calcification can occur easily.

MSM is important for the detox and inflammation.

CS how do you manage to use the Organic Sulfur on a consistent basis? The taste is horrible and just extremely bitter. The bitter taste also seems to linger for quite some time (At least for me) which made it hard for me to commit to it. Any tips on using it?

Yes. I experienced exactly the same issues. So, while the tablets or capsules will be less effective, they will still work. "Breaking the rules" fortunately works. So I just take a lot of either capsules or tablets with plenty of water.

Do you take additional magnesium supplement or is magnesium orotate from Decalcify enough?

I take additional magnesium, because orotate magnesium serves a different function.

I want to take some of these supplements like MSM or Magnesium, but I always fear overdosing or being allergic lol.

Any good brands or websites you can recommend?

I remember you had said in the past that MSM capsules/tablets had agents in it to prevent the clumping, thus making them ineffective. Do you have a certain brand of MSM tablets/capsules that you recommend that work well? Also are said tablets organic sulfur or just straight up MSM?
