Benefits of Calcium Therapy by Manhart vs Cream, Milk, Cheese
I've read some positive effects of using calcium therapy products in the mouth for the teeth and gums, but how are those products any better than swishing with cream or slowly eating cheeses and leaving them on the teeth and gums for extended periods?
I don't see how those calcium products would be any better.
Thoughts?

Re: Benefits of Calcium Therapy by Manhart vs Cream, Milk, Cheese
That's a logical thought, however I've done both. Calcium therapy really does work.
As to the why? It's in a form that is readily absorbed by the gums and teeth, whereas in dairy it has to be broken down. Furthermore, calcium in most forms requires several steps to be broken down and assimilated by the body.
I use it for whitening teeth as this point.
Imagine if one were using a tooth whitening paste or gel, which is made up of either hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide, either will breakdown into hydrogen peroxide. This bleaching process strips the tooth enamel of calcium.
Calcium therapy will whiten the teeth by the attraction of calcium without destroying the enamel and by making it stronger.
A readily absorbable form of calcium will be drawn into the teeth and it help neutralize infections and balance certain types of bacteria.

Re: Benefits of Calcium Therapy by Manhart vs Cream, Milk, Cheese
I've seen some dentists recommend cheese between or after meals, but wonder about the potential sugar breakdown.
Manhart apparently won't disclose exactly what is in his products. A poster on Raypeatforum asked and was told "calcium, zinc and a bit of magnesium".
I bought some of his flakes but after using them I experienced an unexplained depressed feeling. Along with the fact it smelt like a dentist's office made me susupicious about mercury contamination lol.
What forms of calcium would be best suited to this use? I wondered about applying some power with interdental brushes, or just a calcium liquid...

Unexplained depression from rinsing your mouth with those flakes?
I have some excellent high-fat local cream that is very tasty and that must be doing something good swished around my teeth and gums. I'm just skeptical the undisclosed calcium, zinc, and magnesium isn't in fact a way cheaper form of these essential minerals that is primarily a money-making scheme.
I don't like being scammed... that would make me feel a bit depressed.
Cheeses stick well to the teeth and gums similar to the idea of his carpules for holding the product against the affected gum. Also very tasty.
If you look at some of the clips Calcium Therapy Institute has posted on YouTube, his sidekick can't keep from laughing. They're slick and promotional and all comments are disabled.
So I think he's onto something with calcium, but I'm just skeptical about the superiority of his products.

Perhaps unprocessed cheese with a good amount of vitamin K2? K2 moves calcium to the right spots in the body
