Delicious glutenfree menu

Post  LaCie on Wed Jan 13, 2010 9:20 am

I'm thinking about starting a glutenfree diet but find the choice of food very limited. Any recommendations for delicious glutenfree foodstuff ?

Cheers

Try fasting during the day .. When the evening come you'll be really ready to eat and wont have any doubts about what.

eggs, fish, chicken, rice, corn tortillas- mexican food, salads, buckwheat, fruit, beef, gluten free pasta, turkey, rice cakes, hummus, vegetables, steaks, shrimp... anything without wheat.

There is plenty of gluten free foods that are delicious. The problem is the "franken-food" like gluten-free pasta, cookies, or bread that taste awful compared to the original recipes.

My advice is to just drop all that stuff (bread, etc etc) from your diet and don't bother replacing it with the gluten free variety, eat as much meat and veggies as you want and be done with it. There's nothing like a good steak!

Also, unless you've been diagnosed with Coeliac disease you can indulge in pizza or a ice cream or whatever from time to time...
