Anyone have an examples of things that improved intelligence
This may sound absurd but IMO my intelligence and ability to retain information in the classroom has skyrocketed. I think it might be from the krill oil that I have been taking for awhile. I know in the IH blog, it talks about Japanese kids being smarter possibly because of fish consumption. I know anxious talks about being smarted from removing mercury with chlorella. Anyone else have any examples of this?

1..... - I think you're right on all counts.
Iodine increases IQ (not sure how well it works in adults), although it does chelate mercury, so that's got to help, not to mention the Chlorella also.
Acetyl L-Carnitine will increase acetylcholine to the brain. I've been taking this stuff since-2004 and I haven't gone a day without it since, except maybe a handful of times and I could tell a difference--it wasn't a good one. This stuff to me is a little like being a "human computer," maybe not quite there, but at least in spirit.
Krill oil penetrates the blood-brain-barrier (unlike standard fish oil), so it will supply the essential gray matter the brain needs and to allow for optimal functioning, it also seems to counteract neurological disease progression. Mice fed apple doses of fish oil never got Parkinson's disease when given drugs that normally induce Parkinson's like effects.

hey 1...,
Are you able to narrow it down to just the krill oil? What has been your internal regimen? Also, How long have you been taking the Krill Oil.
Caustic,
does taurine have any positive effect on brain fucntion or just a good detox? I like taurine because it's cheap. Can I expect any improvement in the brain/memory/cognitive function?

DepthInValor - It protects against free radicals. It's not something you're likely to notice unless you take plenty of taurine to help over come alcohol consumption.

Been taking krill a week or two at reasonably low dose and noticed i'm performing better in class, but i've also decided i'm way behind on everything and need to listen so that could just be it.

Related to thyroid, is this thermometer good enough to perform a basal temperature test?
