Fish oil contaminated with PCBs

Apparently a class action suit being launched today in California re PCBs in fish oil products. The following are listed as contaminated:

Nature Made Cod Liver Oil

Nature Made Odorless Fish Oil

TwinLab Norwegian Cod Liver Oil

TwinLab Emulsified Norwegian Cod Liver Oil

Now Foods Shark Liver Oil

Now Foods Double Strength Cod Liver Oil

Now Foods Salmon Oil

Solgar 100% Pure Norwegian Shark Liver Oil Complex

Solgar Norwegian Cod Liver Oil

GNC Liquid Norwegian Cod Liver Oil

Saw this on my TV news tonight (Toronto). Am looking for the link to the test/study which implicated these products. Question for CS: Is Krill oil less likely to contain these contaminants?

huli - The media has really blown this out of proportion. The amount of PCB is so low, it is really a joke.

Anyway as far as Krill goes, it has such a short life, it doesn't really get much of a chance to absorb any significant amount of toxins.
