Fluorescent urine with maxi hair supplement

Post  hairze on Tue Mar 23, 2010 9:57 pm

I started taking Country Life's Maxi Hair a few days ago, and right now my urine is fluorescent greenish yellow. Is this normal?

Besides that, I'm also taking Jarrow EPS, Krill Oil from NSI (KriaXanthin) and finasteride 1.25mg.

Thanks

hairze - It's the Riboflavin (Vitamin B2).

I get that if I take a Borroca, although it's less noticeable if I also eat at the same time. This led me too believe that it was just passing through me and that it is better to eat something first before taking, never heard anything about Riboflavin being the cause.

So, this is not a bad thing you're saying CS?

Yeah this happens with my vitamin supplement, it warns on the packet:

Urine discolouration (to a
darker yellow) may be noticed. This is due to the
Riboflavin (Vitamin B2) content of MultiPlus®.
As this vitamin is water-soluble any excess is
excreted in the urine. This is perfectly normal and
completely harmless. It is transient and within 12
hours of MultiPlus® ingestion, urine colour will
return to normal.

hairze - you are fin-overdosed.

But this is not your question , I second CS , it's the Riboflavin.

Bad experiences with fin. I was on fin with terrible sides,
I dropped it. 0.50 mg - in my opinion - is the max dosage.
If possible, drop it too.

I never haver had sides with it. Only a small percentage of people experience sides, and those are obviously the ones who come to the net talk about it. Unfortunately, I also never had good results with it, even though I won't stop it because it might be what's still holding my thinned hair.

Hey, hey, don't get me wrong, I' m not here - at this place - to criticize your decision.
And you answered yourself: 'I also never had good results with it, even though I won't stop it because it might be what's still holding my thinned hair'.

Yes, I forgot to thank you for pointing it to me, I know you did it with good intentions. Smile
