Biotivia launches their eagerly awaited 100% vegetarian Omega 3 oil supplement

Post  Gibson on Wed Jun 23, 2010 3:12 am

I'm not gonna be fake, I had a turkey sandwich for breakfast and Halibut for dinner (probably overkill), but I am becoming a huge fan of Biotivia and I find all fish oil to be nasty, and Krill intolerable. This seems too good to be true, but so far their supplements have blown me away, so I will be first to order.

Gib, for me fish oil is hard to digest. Krill is way easier on me.

Also, Krill Oil has the advantage of being phospholipid-bound so its absorption is definitely higher, it's hard for me to see how something can compete against that.

By all reports, it is a no brainer--but it gives me the runs. This is a reported side effect in a minority of users of Krill oil; apparently, I'm in that minority (tried to use it on several occasions).

I think I am most excited by the fact that this vegetarian omega 3 is being launched by Biotivia; ingredient-wise there seems to be more going on than omega 3's, sesame lignans for one. I've become a huge fan of this company's products. So that's why I just regurgitated the press release.
