Improve Face Skin and Smile Lines
So far aside from hair stuff im taking Borage Oil 2000mg MSM, Biotin and Silica
What else can i take internally and topically to improve the skin appearence?
It also became an obsession for me to prevent smile lines from appearing.
When i stretch my mouth really wise i can see them forming and when i relax my mouth muscles the line still exists for a minute or so before going away, is that normal?
What do you think of Hyaluronic Acid?
http://www.iherb.com/Doctor-s-Best-Best-Hyaluronic-Acid-with-Chondroitin-Sulfate-60-Capsules/4457?at=0 Can it help with hair too?
What else can i use? Emu oil on the face maybe?
Thanks

Re: Improve Face Skin and Smile Lines
Yes, hyaluronic acid is amazing. Within months, it made my laugh lines simply disappear.
Also consider Tremella, an intriguing supplement.

Re: Improve Face Skin and Smile Lines
Thanks
I should just clarify, I dont have any smile lines yet, im just afraid to develop them (im 24)I am "diagnosing myself) with a hair/skin OCD and possibly BDD.
So is the hyaluronic acid safe to consume just to prevention? does it have any negative effect on the body? does it do anything for hair?
Anything topically i should do?
Thank you LA-Night

Re: Improve Face Skin and Smile Lines
Hey FireFist,
I'm only 25 but I could see the beginnings of smile lines, so I took action. The difference in facial appearance is dramatic. When I'm on hyaluronic acid, my face radiates with a healthy glow.
I know that many posters here take hyaluronic acid. It's never given me any negative side effects, and I've only heard good things from users.
If you're really concerned about skin aging, however, then try not to elevate your insulin and glucose levels.
Some other supplements that have helped are ecklonia cava and krill oil.
Topically, you can try emu oil. Just make sure it's good quality.

Re: Improve Face Skin and Smile Lines
Thanks again
I encounter a post here, that CS wrote that hyaluronic acid may promote "Myopic regression", and that's the last thing i need. If i start with the hyaluronic acid and get some myopic regression, is that reversible?

How do i do that?

Fish Collagen is supposed to be really good for treating smile lines, wrinkles, etc.
Don't overlook vitamin C either. It's pretty much a must for any skin care regimen (internally and/or topically).

What sort of effect would Hyaluronic Acid have on an elderly persons skin in their 60's/70's with sagging, wrinkled skin? Would it have any effect?
