How long and how much should I gargle with warm salt water
How long and how much should I gargle with warm salt water? I never get a straight answer for this question. I read on one website to fill a cup about 8 OZ and put salt in it....stir it and swish in my mouth, but 8 oz isn't that nearly have a cup of water? Should I just fill the cup a little bit add salt and gargle for 3 mins and thats it? Any help or suggestions?

I just pour whatever enough to cover the bottom of my cup and brush my teeth with it, don't know if its clever not to measure it but everything seems to be alright so far.

Do you gargle for teeth health or for a sore throat? I had a cold yesterday and gargeld with way to much salt, was disgusting. Besides the taste you can't use too much salt and the longer you floss the better. A few minutes should do, go to the bathroom while doing it etc.

I was reading brushing with salt is bad for your gums and your teeth might fall out later as it loosens and irratates your gums
