Whole Milk or Skim?
Hey guys,
If you're going to drink milk as my wife does, what do you recommend? She is buying skim and I vaguely remember a post in here awhile ago (couldn't find it) that said skim raises insulin more than the whole milk? Am I correct on that? I've gotten her to buy antibiotic/hormone free milk, I just want to make sure we're buying the right kind of milk if you have to drink milk.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Whole Milk or Skim?
I recently finished an article on milk, it will probably be up on Healthyfixx.com within the week or so.
The best milk by far is grass-fed, raw, full-fat milk (it's never pasteurized or homogenized).

Studies in austria or swiss, discovered that children drinking raw milk developed far less allergies......if only I weren't lactose intolerant

I just want to make sure she's buying the right stuff because besides the fact that she drinks it, she cooks with it and I want to make sure I consume the right stuff too.

That's what you're looking for. The further up in the north, the higher the immune factor production...............

pancake, have you tried slowly introducing raw milk into your diet? Many people who have problems with pasteurized dairy can tolerate raw dairy well.

No chance, I'll get gas from a simple hot chocolatte. I can eat cheese yoghurt etc. all I want but no milk. Problem is lactose intollerance from being mercury toxic. I'm doing cutler protocol as soon as possible, should solve it......

Re: Whole Milk or Skim?
Looks like a good diet! My plan is fairly similar, but to stick with it.....
Funny thing is I never recognized that I was lactose intolerant, drank the stuff literwise. Only after experniencing hairloss and cutting it out, I started listening to my body and now I can't handle it.
The more I think about it, the more I believe I came into contact with metals at one point causing most of my health problems, the most problematic being mercury.

I have no doubt in my mind that dairy has beneficial effects, but it's a double-edged sword that cuts deeper than it does in your favor. I've noticed that I have more mucous if I consume more dairy, and mucous if you study ayurvedic medicine is considered to be the "root of all evil" as far as disease goes.
In general, try your best to follow nature, and let cow's milk be for cows. Best source of protein around is HumaPro.com's stuff.
I do consume some raw milk due to my kefir and Golden Milk (recipe by Yogi Bhajan), but I'm reluctant to eat any other dairy, and may eventually cut the kefir out at some point. After all, your body is capable of populating itself with flora of its own creation if you feed it right.

"Did you know that if you removed even one of the EAAs for even one day from your diet for the day your body would utilize none of the protein you take in?"
Is this true? Why do I gain musclemass than?
