New Toothbrush
Hey whats up everyone I have recently broke my toothbrush which was a soladey 2 ionic toothbrush it didn't need toothpaste. Basically I dont wan't to use toothpaste and I want to order another soladey toothbrush, but I am worried they might be shipping it from Japan since that is where it orginginated. Any other toothbrush suggestions without the use of toothpaste? Or maybe homemade toothpaste?

Nothing wrong with toothbrushes from japan! I'd like to try the ionic, but can't spend the money now......
If flossing is not enough and you still get plaque, buy a good waterpik and add mannitol(ebay) to the water. Another option would be to get the softest brush available(maybe a natural one) and dip it into manitol.
Don't forget that if you use equipment, you need to take care of bacteria on the brush etc. so get hydrogenperoxide or something similar and disinfect after each use.....
The above is for removing plaque(that's all a toothbrush can do), healthy white teeth are a different subject/need no brushing.

I want to get another ionic brush, but soladey is made from japan I dont want to get one with the risk of all the nuclear radiation stuff going on. They probably have it stored in america before hand right?

LOL!
Well, now that you mention it, Charmin is the only toilet paper that doesn't use Mercury.
But really, there's so much stuff to potentially avoid I don't go too far out of my way. Avoiding just the major stuff is the most important.

I think that's the first time I've heard you crack a joke besides on the homepage, haha.
And if it wasn't a joke ... wtf?!

Act > React - The info about the toilet paper is true. All toilet paper, except for Charmin (to my knowledge) uses mercury to "disinfect" it in the manufacturing process.
A lot of us will look at articles on Dr. Mercola's site and after a while you get the idea that virtually everything is dangerous. Who would have time to worry about every conceivable threat, it would
be difficult, outside of living in a secluded island somewhere.
However, examples of avoiding the real big threats would be dangerous dental work (voluntary placement of the third-most toxic element on the planet into the mouth). Unnecessary exposure to radioactive imaging equipment (CT-Scans is one of many). Drinking municipal water is another big one.
I'm probably missing some other obvious ones, but I've seen literally hundreds of different threats and some are just almost impossible to avoid without serious inconveniences.

Re: New Toothbrush
There are also some carcinogens added with the bleaching process. Never heard of charmin being good, thought quite the opposite is true since it's the most famous.....Thanks for the tip!
