Atenolol (Betablocker) Stress Reduction & Hair
How would a beta blocker work for hairloss induced by long term stress... like the kind of stress that they are doing on the mice in the other thread..?

Beta blockers are the 2nd worst hypertensive drug. Also they can cause alopecia Areata

Beta blockers weaken the heart valves. The first worst class of hypertensive medication is calcium channel blockers (also known as calcium cardiac "killers")
I think the best bet until more research is Azadirachta indica (neem leaf). it's a potent anti-anxiety and anti-hypertensive. It also lowers blood sugar and is excellent for skin, plus it kills pathogens.

WTF! Beta Blockers cause Alopecia Areata?!
You can see a doctor for some fungus on their head like that Tinea Capitis, that type that causes circular bald patches, a doctor could prescribes them Lamisil and they may end up with Alopecia Areata, the auto immune disease characterized by bald patches on the scalp?
So if someone used a beta blocker and got AA, would they now have a recurring bout of AA throughout their lives? Or is it just one time event?
