Sun Burn/Sun Screen replacement

Post  FireFist on Sat May 28, 2011 10:02 am

So i got burned really bad everywhere, face included yesterday

This sucks because i am really looking out for my skin etc

Can someone just explain to me what are the benefites/danger in being expoused too much to the sun?
From what i gathered from here, its good for increasing melanin production, and Vitamin d levels, and on the other hand its ages skin and causes sun spots etc

With that, the general consensus here is that sun screen is bad, it causes cancer etc, so how do i replace it?

There are mild sun screen products that can be used instead of the standard OTC junk you find at most drugstores.
Also look into taking astaxanthin.

I've heard that internals such as pycnogenol and lycopene (from tomatoes) can help.
