L'Oreal new product for hairloss, Neogenic

Post  bov51 on Fri Sep 14, 2012 7:47 pm

They talked about the importance of hypoxia and the manual method that we're doing right now causes temporary hypoxia? If it does, maybe, we are on to something Smile

If it works as advertised (1700 new hairs in 3 months), no they're not.

1700 hairs is nothing. That's barely enough to fill a penny sized spot with a normal density

I'm surprised some of the massagers haven't chimed in on this one. The product is supposed to work by mimicking the effects of hypoxia for stem cell signaling. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't temporary hypoxia the goal of massage, or certain types of massages?

I guess it is a topical solution, so if you are going to try it so i would suggest you to use it with a dermaroller to make sure that it will get into your scalp properly. And tell us about your progress with that stuff!

1700 hairs on that surface? mmmh...

I'm gonna try it too, just waiting for it to arrive at my local pharmacy.

easily! put a penny on the hairy part of your scalp and then ask yourself - is there a thousand individual hairs there? The human scalp has over 100,000 hair. If one penny is 1000 hair, could you fit 100 pennies on your scalp? Probably not, which means that one penny is probably even more than 1000 hairs

Highly doubt this would work, and the penny worth of hair would be a lot lol, any extra hair is a plus in my book!

Why wouldn't you want to smell like a flower? Very Happy

So what's the massage/hypoxia angle of this product?

A little confused here. There seems to be two products sold one by Loreal and the other Vichy. Both same? Good? There are also bunch packages and they all seem different. Which is it?

1700 hairs is A LOT. You are talking about the density you had when you were a kid and that's not realistic. Hair transplants of 1700 grafts are a HUGE improvement. This is 1700 grafts:

Okay whats the catch. Cause this is starting to piss me off. Like we are all idiots, and they are using some legal loop hole to sell this shit. Why are they saying "denser-looking hair" and stuff like "professional solution for the appearance of thinning hair" Does it regrow and thicken hair or not? Or its all an illusion like the concelears?

And what do we know about the ingredient of this? Serioxyl/Stemoxydine, Intracylane. These things don't sound natural. Could they have side effects like minoxidil does? We don't know shit about this.
