Hormesis literally means to "excite," but in medicine it is used to imply a very low toxic effect to induce the opposite effect. In this case, the "heat shock" from curcumin induces a hormesis effect, allowing human skin to help preserver through adverse conditions.

how effective is Curcumin supps on its own for hair?
also, is the 200mg per day still your recommendation or is it too much?
