Caustic-Do you think washing your hair twice a day is overkill?

youngbalder - An argument against washing hair too much is stripping natural oils from the hair, but that could be a good thing too. I believe what you're using to shampoo your hair with is what would make the difference.

youngbalder - Those products are the extreme few that are 100% natural, should be pretty safe.

My experience with more traditional, SLS shampoos was that going 2-3 days between washes was a good thing. Those products were way too harsh on my hair and scalp. However, since switching to all natural shampoos and conditioners, I wash my hair once a day and have had positive results from it. However, I have found it important to mix up and rotate shampoos and conditioners so that my hair and scalp don't get too used to any one thing. My favorite Aubrey shampoo is Green Tea, and my favorite conditioner is their Green Tea Rinse. I also really love the Morrocco Method products: http://www.morroccomethod.com/
